Armenians living in Germany do not have enough opportunities and
rights to impose any pressure on the German government, said professor
Zhirayr Kocharyan.
Kocharyan, member of the committee on Armenian Genocide recognition in
Germany, said Armenia-Turkey protocols gave no positive results as not
a single state recognized the Genocide after the documents were
signed. In other words, neither reconciliation nor football diplomacy
advanced the recognition process.
`Germany has spent big money to organize four Armenia-Turkey
dialogues. Actually, such events give no positive results,' he
emphasized.
Kocharyan said the Armenian side opposes holding such discussions as
the Genocide is an indisputable fact.
