ARS AND PACIFIC CLINICS PARTNER TO HOLD UPCOMING COMMUNITY FORUMS

ARS community forums
GLENDALE-The Armenian Relief Society (ARS) of Western USA and
Pacific Clinics have partnered to organize a series of community
forums addressing important mental health and social issues. The
first set of four workshops will be held each Wednesday from November
28 through December 19 with topics covering Substance Abuse & Drug
Addiction; Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder & Anxiety;
Issues of Immigrants; and Divorce and Child Custody, respectively.
Each forum has been designed to feature an expert panel of speakers
and moderator, whose field of expertise in these topics will provide
a wealth of information in English and Armenian to the public. "As we
apply the principles of the ARS mission to advance the social welfare
of our communities, we are proud to partner with Pacific Clinics by
offering these forums to disseminate information and build awareness
among our community members, to help them and their families deal
with their daily challenges," said Lena Bozoyan, Chairperson of the
ARS Regional Executive Board.
Admission is free. All young adults and adults are highly encouraged
to take part in these informative forums. The panelists will also be
available to answer any questions from the public.
