ARMENIAN BUSINESSMEN PROPOSED WORKS TO SYRIAN-ARMENIANS IN DIFFERENT AREAS

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS: Today the number one problem for
Syrian-Armenians, who find a refugie in Armenina is employment issue.
As the Minister of Diaspora in the Republic of Armenia Hranush
Hakobyan mentioned on the meeting with the journalists on November 21
the salary paid for the proposed works in Armenia does not satisfy
Syrian-Armenians, as they are accustomed to high wages. As informed
"Armenpress" the Minister said: "Already 120 Syrian-Armenians have
been accomodated to work with the support of our Ministry. There are
Syurian-Armenians who want to launch their own business. We need to
do everything in order to help the needy Syrian-Armenians."
The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Davtyan
mentioned that now the Economy of Armenia has a dynamic development.
He also said: "We will be happy if our compatriots will also be
involved in that process. We do not give fantastic promises, but
we will continue to provide support. We will provide all possible
resources in order to give a solution to the problems related to the
work issues of Syrian-Armenians."
About three dozen emplpyers offered works to Syrian-Armenians from
differetn fields while the meeting: like safety, construction, food
and other industries.
