YEREVAN.- At the moment supporters of the opposition Armenian National
Congress (ANC) bloc are holding protest action near the parliament
    building.

Nearly 50 people gathered in Baghramyan Avenue answering a call of
the ANC parliamentary group head Levon Zurabyan.

Zurabyan himself and other opposition bloc MPs are not participating,
the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from the site.

The demonstration will last till 3 p.m., the deadline for registration
of the MPs. The special session will be declared invalid unless half
of the total number of MPs are registered.

The objective of this special session is to discuss the opposition
bloc Armenian National Congress' bill that envisions amendments in
the Electoral Code, the Criminal Code, and the Law on State Residency
    Registry.
