LOS ANGELES CITY COUNCIL MEMBER CALLED TO THE CALIFORNIAN AUTHORITIES TO KEEP PROTECTING THE INDEPENDENCE OF ARTSAKH

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: The delegation of the Republic of
Nagorno-Karabakh, which currently is in United States of America in
order to participate "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund's annual Telethon,
arrived in Los Angeles City Council on November 21, where the
delegation would participate in the meeting of the Council.
City Council Member Paul Krekorian represented the Delegation his
partners. Then the National Assembly Speaker of NKR Ashot Ghulyan
delivered a welcome speech. Expressing gratitude for the attention
towards Artsakh to the City Council members, he expressed the hope
that their position will remain unchanged.
As Press Release of NA of NKR informed "Armenpress" greeting the
Delegation Board Member Eric Garcetti reminded the ratified resolution
of the Civil Council by on the occasion of the visit of President
of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan. He called on Californian
authorities to protect the independence of Artsakh.
The Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan,
the Consul General of the Republic of Armenia to Los Angles Grigor
Hovhannisyan, the Permanent Representative of the Nagorno Karabakh
Republic in the United States of America and Canada Robert Avetisyan
and the Head of Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh Armine Aleksanyan took
part in the event.
In the second part of the day the Delegation of the Republic of
Nagorno-Karabakh was received at the Central Committee Office of
Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun. The National Assembly
Speaker of the Republic of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the Primate of
the Diocese of Artsakh Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan made a speech
before the present people.
