NA DEPUTY SPEAKER MEETS WITH THE DEPUTY SPEAKER OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF BASHKIRIA RAPHAYIL ZINUROV

On November 22 the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard
Sharmazanov received the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of
Bashkiria Raphayil Zinurov and the Chairman of the Armenian-Russian
Cooperation NGO Yuri Navoyan.
To recap, the NA Deputy Speaker of Bashkiria arrived in Armenia at
the invitation of the organization Armenian-Russian Cooperation
to take part in the presentation of the first volume of his book
"Armenia: Path of Millennia". That book is written in verse about
the history of Armenia from the ancient times until nowadays based
on the Armenian historians' works. The events of the first volume
begin from ancient times of the History of Armenia and reach to the
invention of Armenian scripts. At present the works of printing of
the second and third volumes are in the process.
Welcoming the guest Eduard Sharmazanov highly appreciated his
interest and the work done in the study of the History of Armenia
and civilisation, the book "Armenia: Path of Millennia", which,
to his conviction, would give big impetus to the development of
cultural relations of Armenia and Bashkiria and make more effective
the Armenian-Russian inter-regional cooperation.
Thanking for warm reception, the NA Deputy Speaker of Bashkiria
Raphayil Zinurov has noted that it is difficult to say when his
attitude and admiration towards the Armenian people, its historical
past and present and its culture, he has a conviction, the Armenian
people have big contribution not only in world culture, but also, in
general, in the formation of the history of humankind, moreover, that
history is one of the most important circles of the all-human history.
The Chairman of the Armenian-Russian Cooperation NGO Yuri Navoyan
has said that Raphayil Zinurov is a big expert of the history of
the Armenian people and its culture, but also the big friend of the
Armenian people, who actively takes part in all the important events of
the Armenian community of Russia and contributes to strengthening the
friendship of the Armenian, Russian and Bashkir peoples. According
to his assessment, Raphayil Zinurov's book and its response has
become an impetus of development of cooperation between Armenia and
Bashkiria. At present, the preparatory works of the visit of the
President of Bashkiria to Armenia are underway.
In the course of the meeting issues pertaining to the inter-regional
cooperation, the structure and the activity of the two parliaments
and the peaceful settlement of the NKR problem were also discussed.
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov has
noticed that Armenia has been and remains the supporter for the
solution of the NKR problem through peaceful negotiations, whereas
the Azerbaijani authorities don't stop making bellicose and fascist
statements distorting the facts and violating the international
standards. In particular, he touched upon the anti-Armenian campaign
by Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev on Twitter social website,
where the latter calls Armenia "a colony functioning from outside"
and considers number one enemy for Azerbaijan the Armenian lobby.
Eduard Sharmazanov calls Aliyev a dictator leader of the totalitarian
state, noticing that with cynical statements Aliyev confirms that
today they have remained advocates of fascism.

Armenian approach of the solution of the NK problem through peaceful
negotiations and expressed hope that the international community
would support that stance.
