YEREVAN. - "Compass band" will be representing Armenia on this year's
Junior Eurovision contest which will be taking place on Dec. 1.

Taking into account that the winner is determined with the voices of
the European audience who watch the contest on TV, the support and
active participation of the Diaspora Armenians living in Europe is
    very important.

To assure the popularity of the "Compass band" the Ministry of Diaspora
of Armenia is organizing video conferences with Armenian communities
    living in different European countries.

The media service of the Ministry reports that the latest video
conference has been conducted with the representatives of the
communities in Belgium, Sweden and Russian city of Saint Petersburg.

The young musicians were saluted by the representatives of the cultural
charitable union "Nuard," who noted that they like the song and will
do their best to make Belgium enter the list of countries which give
Armenia the highest scores. The representatives from Sweden voiced
their assurance that the song was going to be this year's winner
and the representatives from Saint Petersburg cheered on the band by
    singing patriotic songs for them.

Armenian Minister of the Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan thanked the
participants of the teleconference for active participation and support
and wished the "Compass band" good luck and victory in the competition.
