A tripartite meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Iran, Azerbaijan
and Turkey scheduled to be held in the Turkish city of Erzurum tomorrow
has been postponed indefinitely, Iran's state-run news agency IRNA
reported.
The reason for postponing the meeting is that Turkish Foreign Minister
Ahmet Davutoglu is to visit New York, said IRNA.
Iranian media reported on Monday that experts from the three countries
have departed for Erzurum to prepare the tripartite meeting between
the three Foreign Ministers.
The first tripartite meeting between Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan
took place in Urmia in April 2011 and the second in Nakhichevan in
March 2012.
