    PUBLIC TELEVISION OF ARMENIA COMPANY COMMENTS ON THE RUMORS ON FALSE RESULTS OF "JUNIOR EUROVISION 2012"

    YEREVAN

    YEREVAN, OVTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS: The news of the final results of
    Armenian "Junior Eurovision 2012" to be false have been examined by
    Armenian Television Companies. Compass band is the winner in a result
    of the votes of the judges and SMS voting. Ruben Tumanyan noted that
    the details concerning the final result are in the clarifying stage.

    "Gohar Gasparyan, the head of Armenian delegation to "Eurovision"
    is in Geneva and will return only next week. As she have all the
    information needed, only after her return we would be able to examine
    the situation and present the results" noted Tumanyan.

    According to the regulations of the contest, only children aged
    10-15 can participate in the creation of the song. On Sep 30 JESC 2012
    Armenian Final took place live on First Channel of Armenia and 17 songs
    took part in the contest. Compass band with the song "Sweetie baby"
    won the final by SMS and professional jury voting with 50/50 ratio. On
    1st of December the 10th Junior Eurovision will be held in Amsterdam,
    the capital of The Netherlands with the slogan "Break the Ice".
