Yerevan/Mediamax/. Lawyer of Civilitas Foundation Artur Grigoryan
stated today that the foundation will lodge a complaint to
international court instances demanding compensation for the injury to
the foundation's reputation in case the Cassation turns down the appeal
of the decision of the Investigation Department of the NSC of Armenia.
Grigoryan stated this during a joint press conference with the lawyers
of the Civilitas Foundation and Vardan Oskanian noting that the appeal
of the decision was turned down in the Court of First Instance and
Court of Appeal, Mediamax reports.
"Civilitas Foundation is as related to the money laundering as
for instance, it may be linked to production of fake brandy", said
the lawyer.
Nicholas Koumjian, international criminal law specialist, who attended
the conference on the invitation of Civilitas Foundation said that
"it's impossible to accuse somebody of money laundering without the
accusation on the part of the person who entrusted the money".
"John Huntsman didn't incriminate Vardan Oskanian and it's obvious
that in this case we can't state the fact of money laundering",
said Nicholas Koumjian.
