Yerevan is going to contest the verdict of President of Azerbaijan
Ilham Aliyev about pardoning of officer Ramil Safarov extradited
from Budapest and sentenced to lifelong imprisonment in Hungary for
murder of an Armenian serviceman in the court. This was announced
at a press conference in Yerevan. According to participants of the
press conference, the matters of the format of the lawsuit are being
discussed now (will it be filed by Aik Makuchyan who nearly became
the second victim of Safarov and whom the Hungarian court recognized
as a victim), as well as the court to which it would be filed.
