YEREVAN, OCTOBER 2, ARMENPRESS: The leader of the Georgian coalition
Georgian Dream, which won the parliamentary elections in October
2012 after President Mikhail Sahakashvili demands his citizenship,
which was "illegally deprived", from the executive power. Armenpress
reports referring to "Georgia online".
"The case on my citizenship has been suspended. I did not transfer
it to Strasbourg before the elections. I am referring to the court
giving to it a chance to have a fair trial during a week" highlighted
Ivanashvili. Ivanashvili has declared that even without a citizenship
he has the right to be elected. He believes that parliament is choosing
the PM, so there will be no problem.
