Boston will host the US premiere of a documentary film on the Armenian
Genocide on October 28. The world premiere of 'Voyage to Amasia' by
Randy Bell and Eric Hachikian was held in Toronto last December and
received the Best Documentary Prize. Earlier it was also screened at
various international festivals, including the 2012 Golden Apricot
International Film Festival in Yerevan, News.am reports

The film depicts Eric Hachikian's return to his ancestors' home in
Amasia, Turkey, about 100 years after his grandmother Helen Shushan
was deported during the Armenian Genocide.

The screening is organized by the Armenian Library and the Museum
of America, the Friends of Armenian Culture Society, the National
Association for Armenian Studies and Research, and the Armenian
Cultural Foundation. Admission is free and open to the public.
