ARMENIAN YEREVAN AND IRAQI DOHUL MAYORS DISCUSS COOPERATION PERSPECTIVES

YEREVAN. - Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met Iraqi Dohul and Diyarbakir
Sur mayors in Aknalij village of Armenia's Armavir region, after the
opening of the chapel for the Yezidis.
Margaryan welcomed the guests and presented Yerevan's development
perspectives, city hall press service reports.
The guests thanked for the reception and claimed that community ties
and possible partnership are favorable for securing development.
Yerevan mayor estimated high the guests' readiness for discussing
edges of cooperation. The sides also touched upon inter-cultural
various issues and agreed on elaborating joint projects.
