EUROPEAN MPS BRIBED BY AZERBAIJAN?

STRASBOURG. - German MP at PACE Marieluise Beck raised an issue on
Wednesday about bribing the European MPs by Azerbaijan in international
institutions and especially in the Council of Europe, member of the
Armenian delegation to PACE Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The German MP called on deal with the issue seriously. Zohrabyan
delivered her speech following the German MP and claimed that if the
issue was raised by an Armenian delegate she would have accused of
being unfair.
"I am very glad that we have to make a serious decision on the issue.
We should dare to speak up about the 'caviar diplomacy' run by
Azerbaijan or it would be too late in future," she said.
The PACE also will discuss a report on human rights and democracy
issues and Zohrabyan will speak about non-democratic political agendas
of Hungary and Azerbaijan linking the issue to the extradition of
Azeri killer Safarov.
