Yesterday, the European Court of Human Rights passed two verdicts
against the Republic of Armenia. The first was on the case of the
veteran of Karabakh war Zhirayr Sefilyan and the second on the case of
the citizen of Shahumyan village of Ararat region, member of Armenian
People's Party Grisha Virabyan.
In 2006, Virabyan was injured in the police department of Ararat region
and the ECtHR considered the explanations of the government of Armenia
"extremely suspicious and impossible" and ruled 25 thousand euros
