NA HAS RATIFIED THE DECLARATION TO DEPLOY MILITARY OBJECTS IN CSTO MEMBER STATES TERRITORY

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 4, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President protocol on
"Deployment of military infrastructure objects in the territory of
Collective Security Treaty Organization member states" was ratified
by 70 votes in favor, 4 against and 2 abstentions. This protocol was
discussed in Armenian National Assembly Foreign relations Standing
Committee and in the course of previous four-day sitting.
The document was signed in 2011 December 20, Moscow. The document
defines decision-making mechanism in Collective Security Treaty
Organization member states areas by military infrastructure deployment
by non-member states army troops stipulated by to CSTO Charter 7th
Article second paragraph.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is an
intergovernmental military alliance which was signed on 15 May 1992.
