YEREVAN, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS: " Autochtonous Peoples of the
Caucasian-Caspian Region" three day lasting International Conference
kicked off in capital Yerevan on October 5. Specialists from Iran,
Georgia, Russia, India, Tajikistan, Italy, France, the Netherlands,
Switzerland, Great Britain, Poland and Germany are participating in
the Conference, Armenpress reports.
"Every ethnic element is unique and is subjected to protection,
especially during this time when the country's political and economic
interests encounter and reportedly nations face the issue to keep the
identity " Garnik Asatryan , the head of the Department of Iranian
Studies , YSU came forth with.
The Department of Iranian Studies is launching International Conference
"Autochtonous Peoples of the Caucasian-Caspian Region" already for
the ninth time aimed at revealing history, archaeology, linguistics,
culture, literature, religions, anthropology, and current political
issues of the region people.
