ARMENIANS KILLED IN BOMBINGS IN NEW VILLAGE DISTRICT OF ALEPPO

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS: Bombs were exploded nearby the
Dzavaryan National School in the Armenian New Village district of
Aleppo at about 22:30pm on October 4, causing death to two Aleppo
Armenians. It was reported to Armenpress by the Press Secretary of the
National Primacy of Aleppo Zhirayr Reyisyan, adding that the names of
the killed were Hasmik Ter Nersisyan-Kirakosyan and Parsum Parsumyan.
There were wounded as well, the number of which had not yet been
clarified. The wounded were immediately transferred to the hospital.
Reyisyan stated that the emergency body took immediate measures to
extinguish the fire and works in that direction had been carried out
by late night.
The Press Secretary of the National Primacy of Aleppo reported as
well that the explosions caused considerable damages to the nearby
buildings and a significant number of apartments were destroyed.
At night of October 5 another bomb was exploded in Suleimania district,
again causing considerable material damages. According to Zhirayr
Reyisyan, minutes ago one more explosion was blown in Aleppo, about
the caused damages of which there was not any information yet.
In Syria more than 30,000 people, including more than 30 Armenians,
died in the collisions between the opposition and government forces,
which have lasted about 18 months.
