Armenian opposition party leader has political meetings in US - newspaper

YEREVAN. - Armenia's oppositionRepublic Party leader Aram Sargsyan was
in the United States in recent weeks and held political meetings in
Washington DC., Zhamanak daily reports.
`Aram Sargsyan had talks with the US political circles, [and] held
meetings at the Department of State, the White House, [and] Security
Council bodies.
`The view that the US is busy with its own problems, its own
presidential elections, [that] it has numerous problems in the Middle
East, Afghanistan, etc. and [therefore] has no time for Armenia, is
definitely a lie; that isn't so,' Aram Sargsyan told Zhamanak adding
that those [in the US] who are dealing with Armenia deal with it every
day and are paid for this,' Zhamanak writes.
