The change of the government in Georgia will have affect Armenia,
political analyst Levon Shirinyan told the reporters on Saturday.

He said it will be connected with Georgia's steps to smooth the
relations with Russia, which may probably be done on the account of
    Armenia.

`Be sure the political orientation of Georgians will not change and
Georgia will not be returned back to Russian field, but policy
addressed to smoothing relations will be held,' he said.

`It is necessary to take into account that Georgian's mentality is
more European and Armenia's condition in such situation may become
more complicated,' he said, noting that the policy will be implemented
on the account of Armenia and Karabakh.

`I think Armenian and Russian relations may enter a complicated phase
as the Russia's political elite is pro-Georgian. We should be
attentive to Moscow's actions for them not to negotiate on the account
of Armenia and Karabakh, and not to violate our national interests,'
    he said.

The political analyst stressed that Russia will not make wide scale
changes but it may make small steps that will not be beneficial for
    Armenia.

According to Levon Shirinyan, Georgia is pro-Western and with its
mentality it is a leading country in the region.
The political analyst also said there is no Armenian issue in Georgia,
there is just the issue of integration and the key to it is language.
