Armenian opposition MP meets PACE official in Strasbourg - newspaper

YEREVAN. - Opposition Armenian National Congress' National Assembly
(NA) Faction leader and member of NA delegation to the Parliamentary
Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Levon Zurabyan, who had
headed to Strasbourg, France, to attend PACE's fall session, met with
PACE Monitoring Committee Chairman Andres Herkel, Chorrord
Inknishkhanutyun (CI) daily reports.
`According to CI's information, during the meeting they discussed
matters in connection with democracy, political prisoners, electoral
system, [and] past NA and upcoming presidential elections in Armenia.
They also examined issues in connection with the revealing of the
March 1[, 2008 tragic operations in capital city Yerevan] crime,'
Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
