USA NOT AGAINST CRIMINAL PERSECUTION AGAINST VARTAN OSKANIAN, EX MEMBER OF KARABAKH COMMITTEE SAYS

Former member of Karabakh committee Ashot Manucharyan thinks US
Ambassador to Armenia is able to solve any political issue, including
quitting or not quitting criminal persecution against this or that
    person.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Manucharyan said the USA is not
against the criminal persecutions against Prosperous Armenia party
    MP Vartan Oskanian.

To see the difference between words and actions, Manucharyan offered
not to view the statements of Armenian political figures as they are
just 'weak executers', but the statements and actions of world powers
which have registered a great gap.

Speaking about the conflict of interests between Russia and
the USA, Manucharyan said currently it is being elaborated over
    Eurasian-Caucasian corridor.

"Why is Vartan Oskanian being persecuted? As we know Russia's opened
tool is Prosperous Armenia. Let's put aside how much does it correspond
to reality and imagine that the party's second figure, which seems to
be protected by the USA, is being charged by Armenia's administration
while the first figure of the party vanishes at the very moment,"
    Manucharyan said.

The other members of the party are pragmatic people who either made
money or committed crime and perceive each small signal.

Manucharyan said currently Russia's beloved instrument is being
eliminated in Armenia, adding that Russia should have thought earlier
on what basis it creates the tool.

Manucharyan said the USA threatens Russia with Vartan Oskanian and
it is for them to decide whether to make a presidential candidate or
    suffering prisoner of him [Oskanian].
