ARMENIAN RESCUERS SHOW GOOD RESULTS AT TRAININGS IN GEORGIA

YEREVAN. - As a result of the "Georgia 2012" training exercises, the
latter's command and Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES)
awarded Armenia's rescuers with an encouragement and a special prize,
MES Special Water Rescue Squad Commander, Colonel Samvel Lazarian
stated during a press conference on Thursday.
The exercises were conducted on September 22-27 nearby Georgian capital
city Tbilisi, and Armenia's delegation comprised around fifty rescuers.
To note, such training was conducted in Armenia in 2010.
Separately, Colonel Lazarian informed that MES representative,
warrant officer Armen Yepremyan attended the underwater divers'
training courses held in Kyrgyzstan. "He showed excellent results,
owing to which two representatives from Armenia are invited to these
courses next year," he said.
