AMERIABANK RECOGNIZED BEST ISSUING BANK IN EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has recognized Ameriabank
CJSC the Best GTFP (Global Trade Finance Program) Issuing Bank for
Energy Efficiency in Europe and Central Asia, the press service of
Ameriabank told ArmInfo.
The award ceremony took place in Dubai on the margins of the IFC's 5th
annual forum. A total of 150 financial organizations from 52 countries
attended the forum. The head of the Trade Financing Department of
Ameriabank said that when financing energy projects, the Bank pays
special attention to the management of environmental and social risks
in order to minimize them.
To recall, in 2011 the IFC recognized Ameriabank the Best Issuing
Bank among the banks of Transcaucasus.
To note, Ameriabank provides investment, corporate and retail banking
services. Ameria Group (CY) Limited has been the majority stakeholder
of the Bank (99.99%) since November 2011.
