LEVON TER-PETROSYAN KEEPS SILENCE HAVING NOTHING TO SAY, MP SAYS

Leader of Constitutional Right Union, Republican party MP Hayk
Babukhanyan said Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan keeps
silence having nothing to say. "His whole political program ended
with siesta," the MP said.
Babukhanyan stressed that even his [Ter-Petrosyan's] seven MPs vote
in seven different ways in the National Assembly.
"Let's take the voting over CSTO, or any other issue, they fail to
unite over the most important issues," he said.
Enumerating the "failures of the Armenian National Congress,"
Babukhanyan said, "You have seen that they did not participate in
the municipal elections. During the pre-election campaign only 3-4
people were meeting with Levon Ter-Petrosyan."
The leader of the Constitutional Right Union said the ANC does not
enjoy people's support and does not have a team that can have a
serious role in presidential elections.
"We may consider the ANC's page closed. The Congress will remain in
the parliament as a radical opposition, but the same faction will
present different viewpoints over the same issue," he concluded.
