US AND RUSSIAN OFFICIALS DISCUSS KARABAKH PEACE PROCESS

Russian Deputy FM Grigory Karasin and U.S. Assistant Secretary of
State Philip Gordon met in Geneva on Thursday to discuss a number of
issues, including Karabakh conflict.
The sides exchanged views on results of the Georgian parliamentary
elections, situation in the South Caucasus and relations of Georgia
with the neighboring states, Russian MFA said in a statement.
They also discussed development of Russia and U.S. relations with
the Caucasus states as well as the Karabakh peace process.
