YEREVAN.- The reports about escalation of situation in the line of
contact are inaccurate, spokesperson for Defense Ministry Artsrun
Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Traditional daily reports of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry regarding
situation in the frontline differ from the usual statements.
"Situation in the line of contact has become more tensed," Azerbaijani
Defense Ministry claims.
Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire, in the line of contact
with Armenia's and Nagorno-Karabakh's armed forces, over 13,780 times
since the beginning of this year.
Twelve Armenian military servicemen were killed and twenty-one
others-including three civilians-were wounded as a result of
Azerbaijan's ceasefire violations since the beginning of 2012.
