Integration opens new ways for Armenia's economy - Min Transport
YEREVAN October 13
Integration processes on the post-Soviet space open new opportunities
for Armenia's economy, Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov said.
As co-chairman of the inter-governmental commission for economic
cooperation Sokolov took part in the 2nd Russian-Armenian
inter-regional forum on Saturday.
"At present, integration processes have actively developed on the
post-Soviet space. Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan are forming the
common economic space. In the future this will be a common market with
common economic and legal norms within which people, goods and
services will move free," the Russian minister stressed.
"In several days the free trade agreement will come into effect. I
believe that these events open new possibilities for the Armenian
economy," he noted.
In his words, "we'll discuss all opportunities with our colleagues."
