Armenian company invests 15 million in wine and brandy factory

YEREVAN.- Armenian Golden Grape Armas company has invested 15 million
euro in construction of brandy factory in Aragatsotn region.
The opening ceremony of the factory was attended by President Serzh
Sargsyan, Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports. Company's owner
Armen Aslanyan said they have stocked 1,000 tons of grapes out of
which 400 tons are harvested from the company's vineyards. Grapes were
purchased from farmers on average for 140 AMD per kilo.
The factory is equipped with hail suppression stations to protect the crop.
The company has already reached export arrangements with American,
European and Russian clients.
