In order to keep under control the sphere of pharmaceuticals, the
head of Szni Ltd. Pharmaceutical Company Garnik Sahakyan says, it is
first of all necessary to punish the Republican Member of Parliament
Samvel Alexanyan.
Garnik Sahakyan whose business suffered losses due to the
anti-competitive actions of the Natali Pharm owned by Samvel Alexanyan
told Lragir.am that the head of state has said it is necessary to
catch the big fish. "So I'm pointing out a big one who is a member of
the Republican Party," says Sahakyan demanding also to strip Alexanyan
of parliamentary immunity since his presence in the parliament is an
evil for the state.
Garnik Sahakyan wonders why the prosecutor filed a motion to strip
Oskanian of immunity, and not Alexanyan who is busy laundering the
public budget. Natali Pharm owned by Alexanyan is one of the main
offenders in state procurement. He says billions are concerned.
The head of Szni Ltd. demands to withdraw permission to Natali Pharm
to participate in state procurement for three years, as well as demand
compensation of damage to his company and to the state budget.
Dwelling on the check of the State Commission for the Protection
of Economic Competition, Garnik Sahakyan says that kickback in
state procurement consists in companies winning tenders without
participation.
Sahakyan says that small companies like Szni never have the possibility
to participate in state tenders. He blames the government and other
control bodies. Natali Pharm dumped prices in all the tenders in
which Szni participated but Samvel Alexanyan has gone away with
that. According to Garnik Sahakyan's calculations, Natali Pharm
inflicted a damage of 3,450,000 AMD to the state budget. Natali
Pharm was fined 30 million for unfair competition, and 20 million
for dumping.
According to him, this situation occurred in 2000. He says it is
ridiculous to raise this issue on the eve of the presidential elections
since had these phenomena been fought since 2008, they would not be
present now.
By the way, the owner of Szni Company is selling his property and
business with the intention to leave Armenia.
