Executive Director of "Habitat for Humanity: Armenia" Foundation Louiza
Vardanyan and Head of Development of Recourses Seda Arzoumanyan are
organizing different events and meetings with representatives of the
Armenian Community and the Church in States of California and Michigan
of the USA from October 14-28.
As the foundation informed "Armenpress" representatives of "Habitat
Armenia" initiated an action in Glendale, California where was
organized an event entitled "Build Houses in Armenia and Glendale,
Make a New Hope".
In frames of the visit the representatives of the organization
introduced outstanding results of 12 years of "Habitat for Humanity"
activity in Armenia aimed to improve communal conditions of families
with low income via providing them with reasonable solutions. Present
programs of "Habitat Armenia" were represented and chances of
cooperation of the Church and Armenian community in frames of these
programs were under discussion.
During the meeting with members of branches of South California
Association and members of Glendale Municipality representatives of
"Habitat Armenia" introduced programs of the organization and their
future plans.
"Habitat Armenia" suggests cooperation to representatives of Armenian
Diaspora and is looking forward to upcoming meetings.
