The first two photos are of the Karagloukh Cemetary at the Shikakar
Fortress in the Martakert region of Artsakh.
Tractors stationed at the village of Khramort have moved in to plough
the land for a planting of sweet clover. Shikakar Fortress comprises
a 350 hectare protected zone.
The other photos show the northern stretches of Tikranakert, in the
Nor Maragha area, also in Artsakh.
A water pipe is being installed through the historic site, unearthing
clay pottery.
According to local monument specialists, who wish to remain anonymous,
the clay fragments and bones date back to the Hellenistic period.
