HOMELESS FAMILY LIVES IN ATTIC

Heriknaz Markosyan's family lives in an attic of a many-storeyed
residential building in Armenia's Gyumri city. The family did not
receive an apartment as Heriknaz's mother was in prison during the
registration of homeless families in 2008. Heriknaz was unable to
submit the full package of documents required by the Mayor's Office
for the registration.
The family is temporarily living in the attic which lacks public
utility facilities.
