ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT ADOPTS DECISION TO REDUCE AUTHORIZED CAPITAL OF ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN CJSC "METSAMORENERGOATOM"

At its today's session the government of Armenia adopted a decision
which allows to reduce the authorized capital of the Armenian-Russian
CJSC "Metsamorenergoatom" via reduction of the nominal price of shares
and making the authorized capital meet net assets of the company at
the end of 2011, which amounted to 22,956 mln drams. The decision
was submitted by Armenian Energy and Natural Resources Minister,
Armen Movsisyan.
He said that such decision is stemming from the law on joint-stock
companies. The authorized capital of this company amounted to 60
mln drams.
To recall, CJSC "Metswamorenergoatom" was founded on 3 February
2010 for construction of a new nuclear energy block in Armenia. The
shareholders are: "Atomstroyexport" from the Russian party (50%)
and Armenian Energy and Natural Resources Ministry (50%).
