CIS MINISTERS OF EDUCATION HONORED THE MEMORY OF VICTIMS OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, ARMENPRESS. The delegation of ministers of
education from CIS countries paid a visit to Tsitsernakaberd hill
on October 18 to put flowers and wreaths in honor of the victims of
the Great Armenian Genocide. As reports "Armenpress" the guests got
acquainted with the exhibition in the Museum-Institute of the Armenian
Genocide and made the following note in the book of impressions:
"We wish prosperity to your people. Let pain and passions stay away
from your nation".
>From all CIS member states only State Duma of Russian Federation
ratified a declaration regarding Armenian Genocide in 1995.
19th conference of ministers of education of CIS member states takes
place in Yerevan on October 18-19 and the 2nd conference of workers
of educational sphere and teachers from CIS. About 500 delegates are
participating in these conferences.
