The only company to import cash register coupons in Armenia is Alexerve
JSC, which is registered at the same address as Ucom Company.
Rumors go Ucom is owned by the chairman of the State Revenue Committee
Gagik Khachatryan.
If another company is registered at the same address of Gagik
Khachatryan's company, it is a little hard to believe they are not
related. I mean, it is not ruled out that Alexerve also belongs to
the SRC chairman.
Gagik Khachatryan didn't hide his connection with Ucom. Gagik
Khachatryan tols Lragir.am that his sons participate in the activities
of Ucom with Ericson company which, according to Khachatryan, made
large investments in the creation of Ucom. He refuted any link to
Alexerve Company.
We asked the reason why Alexerve is registered at the same address
of Ucom. Khachatryan answered that Ucom specialists help them with
software development for the sphere of state revenues. He underlined
that they accept the support of anyone, Ucom, Orange or Armentel
companies, since electronic management systems are very expensive
nowadays, while our country has no enough means.
The fact that Alexerve is the only company in the field, a monopolist,
also creates grounds to think that it belongs to Gagik Khachatryan.
The latter explained this circumstance saying that the company is the
only one in order to rule out any kind of intervention and breaches.
He added that they are going to do the same for cash register machines
because the interventions are too many so they influence on the
budget incomes.
According to a governmental decision, Armenian businessmen will have
to change the cash coupons in 2013-15 period acquiring new ones. So,
the government is intended to enrich one more not accidental company.
