EU FINANCED SEMINARS LAUNCHED IN ''EREBUNI'' MUSEUM FOR LOCAL SELF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS: Two thematic seminars on educational
and archeological heritage are scheduled to kick off in Erebuni
historical and archeological museum within the frame of the educational
projects funded by the European Union stipulated for local government
representatives. Taking into account that heritage protection is an
obligation distributed among all members of the public, seminars
are aimed at promoting cultural heritage and the introduction and
application of the knowledge, Armenpress reports.
The thematic seminars were elaborated by ICOMOS/Armenia NGO
within the frame of "Regional Cooperation for the Development of
Cultural Heritage" project of EU Eastern Partnership "Culture"
program and with close cooperation with the Ministry of Territorial
Administration. "Erebuni" historical and archeological museum is co
partner of the project. The project is financed by the EU.
"Regional Cooperation for the Development of Cultural Heritage"
project is implemented by Georgia (ICOMOS/Georgia, chief partner),
Armenia (ICOMOS/Armenia, partner ) and Ukraine ( Architectura I
Prestizh, partner). The presentation of the project kicked off in
Erebuni historical and archeological museum on June, 2012.
