ARGENTINE EMBASSY EXPECT TRADE TURNOVER GROWTH WITH ARMENIA IN 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - Argentinean embassy will be working to expand trade
and economic ties with Armenia, with a business forum for Argentinean
entrepreneurs planned in near future, an Argentinean envoy said.
As Diego Ernesto Alvarez Rivera told a news conference in Yerevan, the
2011 turnover between Armenia and Argentina made up over $6 million,
with imports and exports comprising $6 million and $2,1 thousand
respectively, with the figure expected to grow in 2012.
Exported from Armenia to Argentina are caoutchouc, sports equipment,
brandy, etc; imported to Armenia are aluminum, fresh and frozen meat,
citrus fruit, tobacco, etc.
The Ambassador furhter listed import of agriculture equipment,
services in agriculture sector among possible fields of cooperation.
On October 19, Armenian-Argentinean trade and economic forum has
launched in Yerevan. The event was organized by Armenian Chamber of
Commerce and Industry jointly with Argentinean embassy.
