"ZVARTNOTS" AIRPORT AGAIN STOPPED SERVING "ARMAVIA" FLIGHTS
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 23, ARMENPRESS. "Zvartnots" Airport again stopped the
flights of "Armavia" Airlines. In a conversation with "Armenpress"
this was announced by the Press Secretary of "Zvartnots" Airport
Gevorg Abrahamyan, who said that presently the debt of the airline is
USD 3 million 300, 000. Gevorg Abrahamyan said: "They again exceeded
the limit of debt of USD 2 million 360,000 stated in the agreement,
which served as a basis for "Zvartnots" Airport to stop serving
"Armavia" Airlines again".
Press Secretary of "Armavia" Airlines assured that they keep paying off
the debt by transferring some amount of money each day, but "Zvartnots"
Airport still refuses to serve their flights causing inconveniences
to the passengers. The Press Service of "Armavia" Airlines stated:
"When our debt was USD 6 million 200,000 they kept serving our flights,
but now when we have reduced the debt to three million they refuse
serving our flights. What does it mean? Is it profitable for anyone?"
This is not the first time that the airport refuses to serve flights
of the airline due to the debts.
