23 October: The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has commented on the
holding by the Armenian armed forces of a military exercise in the
occupied Azerbaijani lands and the attendance of the Armenian president
in it.
"There is no reason for concern. The time will come when they
will not be able to make even one step on [Azerbaijan's breakaway
Armenian-controlled] Karabakh land," the deputy chief of the Defence
Ministry press service, Teymur Abdullayev, told Trend.
According to a report circulated by the Armenian presidential press
service, [President Serzh Sargsyan] during his visit to occupied
Azerbaijani territories was accompanied by Defence Minister Seyran
Ohanyan and high ranking military officials. Sargsyan inspected
positions on the line of contact between [Armenian and Azerbaijani]
troops and familiarized himself with the training of the so-called
"Nagornyy Karabakh army".
