The intrigue of the forthcoming presidential elections will be whether
Prosperous Armenia will have its own candidate or will support Serzh
Sargsyan, Director of Caucasus Institute, political expert Alexander
Iskandaryan said during a press- conference on Thursday.
"If the party does not nominate its own candidate, the outcome of
the elections will be easy to predict. The only real rival to Serzh
Sargsyan is the leader of the party Gagik Tsarukyan. Today he is being
seriously pressured, but he will hardly give in," Iskandaryan said.
