Iran's Energy Minister Majid Namju visited Armenian capital Yerevan
on 23 October, the Iranian Students' New Agency (ISNA) reported on
    24 October.

According to ISNA, Namju and a delegation of 37 officials attended the
11th meeting of the joint Iran-Armenia economic cooperation commission
    held 22-25 October.

The report also said that Iranian delegation's programme included
meetings with Armenian high-ranking officials and visits to electricity
    and water installations.

ISNA reported that the two sides would discuss various projects,
including those in the fields of energy, water, electricity, industry,
finances, trade, provincial cooperation, investments, agriculture,
    tourism, health, and transportation.

"In our joint projects, we have, of course, seen some progress, but
I must also note that there are obstacles which slow down the pace
of our projects," the Armenian Mediamax news agency quoted Namju as
saying. He was also quoted as saying that with all the progress made,
the results of the cooperation were still below the satisfactory level
and everything was to be done in order "to overcome the obstacles
    and move further".

The spokesperson of the Armenian Energy and Natural Resources Ministry
refused to specify the nature of the "obstacles" mentioned in Namju's
    speech, Mediamax reported.
