ARMENIAN PRESIDENT PARTICIPATED IN THE OPENING CEREMONY OF AIR DEFENCE MILITARY UNIT IN NKR

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
concluded the working visit to Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. As Armenpress
was informed from the presidential press office, Thursday morning
President Serzh Sargsyan participated in the opening ceremony of the
air defence military unit with all the modern equipment situated in
south of Armenia.
President congratulated the presents on the occasion of the opening of
the unit and expressed gratitude to the soldiers for their successful
service.
"Armed forces are meant to protect our nation, but there are several
subdivisions our nation's security directly depends on. And one of
them is the air defence subdivision" Serzh Sargsyan said.
The President highlighted the brilliant operation of air defence
subdivision during Artsakh war.
According to Serzh Sargsyan the opening of such a unit full of
modern equipment and armaments symbolizes the future of all our
military units.
