RUSSIAN LAND FORCES COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF INSPECTED COMBAT READINESS OF RUSSIAN MILITARY BASE IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Commander-in-Chief of Russia's
Land Forces, Colonel General Vladimir Chirkin completed his visit
to the Republic of Armenia. As Ministry of Defense of the Republic
of Armenia informed Armenpress, the working visit of Russian top
military serviceman extending 23-25 October, was seeking inspection
of combat readiness of Russian military base dislocated in Armenia
and showing assistance to military base's leadership to prepare for
the new academic year.
In the frame of the visit Colonel General Vladimir Chirkin had a
meeting with Armenian Defense Ministry head Seyran Ohanyan and the
Chief of Staff of the Armenian Army, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov.
In the course of the launched meeting the sides have discussed
wide frame of issues pertain to RF 102 base activities as well as
have touched upon Armenian - Russian military-technical cooperation
various issues.
