ARMENIAN FM WELCOMES THE DECISION OF AUSTRALIA'S NEW SOUTH WALES ON NKR RECOGNITION

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan stated
that trying to preserve the status-quo, Azerbaijan continues to hamper
the mediators' efforts on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict.
Edward Nalbandyan, who currently is on a visit to Latin America, said
this at the meeting with the Chairman of the parliament of Costa-Rica.
"The more Azerbaijan hampers the mediators' efforts trying to
preserve the status-quo, the more decisions like the one taken by the
Legislative Council of Australia's largest State New South Wales on
the recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic will be made. Such
decisions will open a way for the international recognition of Nagorno
Karabakh," the minister said.
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan with will meet with
the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in Paris tomorrow.
