YEREVAN. - A delegation led by State Revenue Committee (SRC) Chairman
Gagik Khachatryan arrived in Buenos Aires Monday on a working visit,
SRC press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
On the next day, Khachatryan met with Ricardo Echegaray, Argentina's
Federal Administrator of Public Revenue. They discussed cooperation
in the customs domain and matters of mutual interest. Reflecting on
the Armenian-Argentinean ties, the parties stressed that the customs
cooperation agreement to be signed will offer new opportunities
to boost trade and economic ties. Also, they agreed to prepare for
signing the tax sphere cooperation agreement between both countries.
At the end of the meeting, the two state officials signed the customs
cooperation agreement between Armenia and Argentina. This document
assumes a qualitatively new level in the interaction between the
customs services of both countries.
Also, the Armenian delegation paid a visit to the Buenos Aires Port
and got familiar with Argentina's customs procedures and the activities
by the existing infrastructures.
