Ukrainian peacekeepers in Kosovo pass security responsibilities to
    Armenian and US colleagues

    Kyiv October 26

The servicemen of the Ukrainian contingent in Kosovo have passed their
responsibility for the security of the Nothing Hill base in northern
Kosovo to the Armenian contingent, the press service of the Ukrainian
    Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.

During the ceremony to replace the national flags on the base's
flagpole, reports on the transfer of powers from their subordinates
were received by the commanders of the national contingents,
Lieutenants Colonel Illia Fedorenko and Tigran Saakyan.

In addition, the Ukrainian peacekeepers transferred to the U.S.
contingent responsibility for the security of the Mount Goles
communications center, which is located near the region's
administrative center - the city of Pristina.
