Nairi Hunanyan to Robert Kocharyan: you must reap what you have sown

In October of 1999 NA launched its regular four-day session. On the third
day of the session, according to agenda there was the day of
question-and-response. Exactly that day, on October 27, in the hall of
National Assembly of RA the gravest crime occurred in the history of RA,
political elite was beheaded.
6 felons succeeded to penetrate the NA building: Nairi Hunanyan was heading
them. *Obviously besides felons, powers supporting them were present in NA,
by the direct participation of which the crime was committed.* On October
27 in NA hall NA Speaker Karen Demirchyan, RA PM Vazgen Sargsyan, NA
vice-presidents Yuri Bakhshyan, Ruben Miroyan, MPs Mikael Qotanyan, Henrik
Abrahamyan, Armenak Armenakyan, Minister Leonard Petrosyan were killed.
Some MPs and Ministers got injuries.
At those years head of the country was RA President Robert Kocharyan, *Minister
of National Security was current President Serzh Sargsyan, which was
dismissed from the position of Chief of Staff and Minister of Presidential
Security after the events of October 27. A year later, Serzh Sargsyan is
appointed RA Minister of Defense, when even the court trial on October 27
wasn't over.*
On October 27, after the crime, Nairi Hunanyan raises his demands, saying:
`Let Kocharyan Robert come, the President of this nation, an we'll decide
fate of this nation. He comes here, no one threats to kill him, let him
come here and we'll decide country's future together. Or for the start
let
Alik come.'
Speaking on the incident, country's President of that time Robert Kocharyan
says: `It's one thing, that it turned out, that this is done by special spy
service of other countries, of course, Ministry of Security should take the
responsibility, which should have prevented, which should have been
informed by its tools on such possible steps to be taken. If turns out,
that this was some organized power in Armenia, then both National Security
and Ministry of Internal Affairs must take the responsibility. If it turns
out, that this is just a group of people connected with family ties,
childhood friendship, that someone instigated this, this is another
situation. Everything can be taken under suspicion. I also have my
suspicions on some issues, but there are facts: concrete people, which have
done the terror are arrested and there is some circle, which participated
in and supported them, and it's impossible not to reveal this case, as
people are arrested, there are proofs, everything was done utterly,' Robert
Kocharyan was saying.
The court trial was over in 2003: it lasted for 4 years, but many questions
didn't receive their answers. Until this day many are convinced real
sinners of October 27 are still in freedom.
After the terror the band of 6 was handed to law enforcement officials
which were later sentenced to imprisonment.
*During the hearing Nairi Hunanyan was declaring that notices addressed to
different officials, including Robert Kocharyan have never reached to the
addressees. But during one of the court trials the letter* addressed to
Robert Kocharyan is published, which read: `The most dangerous phase has
begun and I suggest you while charging to take into considerate on the
fact, that the volume of charges didn't arise from this or that materials
and it weren't obviously fake. It may turn out at the end, that you've
charged yourself.
Your authority is based on 2 consistent parts. On the one hand you were my
and others' guarantor before the nation, on the other hand, you had my
defense and support. *It's your turn, my step will depend on you and surely
will be adequate. Remember, the national wisdom: you must reap what you
have sown.'*
Hunanyan also presented a lot of petitions to interrogate Robert Kocharyan,
Serzh sargsyan and Aleksan Harutyunyan as witnesses, to launch double
examination (particularly connected murders of Karen Demirchyan and Armenak
Armenakyan).
Control of examination of October 27 was entrusted to Gagik Jhangiryan,
which was the Military Prosecutor General then.
*There was some separated part from case of Hunayan and from others, which
referred orderers, but that part is being shortened.*
*After the hearing under very suspicious circumstances some witnesses die.*
In 2000 under unknown conditions Norayr Yeghiazaryan dies, which sold
weapons to the criminal band. *In 2004 Vram Galstyan commits suicide, which
was the uncle of band head Nairi Hunanyan, which during the hearings was
persistently declaring, that he's being injected psychotropic drugs and
`They do everything, that he committed suicide and the truth wasn't
revealed.'*
On May 15 Hamlet Stepanyan dies of heart attack in Nubarashen penitentiary,
which was sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment on October 27 case, 1999.
His term was to terminate in 2014.
In 2002 President of Public TV and Radio, a key witness of this case 36
year-old Tigran Naghdalyan is killed in the hallway of his apartment
building. Despite Armen Sargsyan, brother of the killed PM Vazgen Sargsyan
was charged and sentenced, but until this day, many claim, that Naghdalyan
was killed as October 27 witness.
In 2004 key witness, NA MP 47 year-old Mushegh Movsisyan dies of car
accident, the same year 45 year-old Hasmik Abrahamyan hangs herself in NA
building, which was also included in the list of witnesses.
And two days after October 27, nurse Rosa Hovhannisyan and doctor Nelly
Tonoyan head for the USA, which provided first aid to those injured in NA
hall, when they were considered to be most important witnesses of the case.
13 years have passed after the crime. But even after so many years cases of
October 27 are revealed yet. It's obvious people which are serving their
punishment in jail, are only performers of an order, and the staff of
orderers remains unpunished, names of which will remain secret. This also
facts, that even 13 years after the incident no name is being said from
those in prison.
