Famous American-Armenian musician Arto Tunjboyajian, performing in
avant-garde folk style, considers senseless the strives of people who
have nothing to say but sing and spend a lot of money and effort for
them to be `cursed'.
`No matter what my goal is, I put clean soul in my music to leave
something after me so that my grandchild is not `cursed','
Tunjboyajyan said, speaking to Tert.am.
Tunjboyajian is not against light and happy living, but at the same
time he urged not to forget about tomorrow.
`You live your life but you should think about tomorrow, about what
you are leaving to your grandchild. It is very important for me,' he
said.
The singer says he understands that may be not all like his music but
he is sure that no one can reject that he puts revelation in it.
`May be the music I write is being understood in an hour, or in ten
years or is not being understood at all, but I am not doing
unnecessary things, I have one direction and I follow it,' he
explained.
Tunjboyajan said he cannot say whether he is satisfied with
presentation of his potential or presented results. `It is my
opportunity, I am not waiting for anyone to give me opportunity to do
it better. I just imagine my music, my mind, my work. It allows me to
present myself to the world,' he said.
